Time to Accept Jesus

Accept Jesus, He Can Help

He is not imaginary, nor just a manifestation, feeling, or concept. He is real and present. When you invite Him into your life, His Holy Spirit fills your heart, giving you confidence to face life's challenges. Although life's problems won't disappear, you'll find that navigating them becomes less overwhelming and more manageable. Experience Jesus' promises of  peace, comfort and guidance today!

Accepting Him is Simple

To accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you don't need a perfect life, a sinless record, theological knowledge, church membership, rituals, good deeds, or specific emotional experiences, nor do you need to be familiar with the Bible.

Step 1: Recognize Your Need for Salvation

  1. - Acknowledge your sinfulness and separation from God (Romans 3:23).
  2. - Understand that sin leads to spiritual death (Romans 6:23).

Step 2: Repent and Turn to God

  1. - Repent from sin and turn to God (Acts 3:19).
  2. - Be willing to leave your old life behind (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Step 3: Believe in Jesus

  1. - Trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior (John 3:16).
  2. - Believe Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

If you are ready, just recite this short prayer and mean it in your heart:

Dear God, I acknowledge I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I repent and ask for forgiveness of my sins.  I am ready to turn away from my sinful ways and put my  trust and reliance in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Upon completing that act of repentance and putting your faith in Jesus you have just invited the Holy Spirit to live in your very heart.  Through this declaration to God you have been given the right to be called a child of God.  God promises to never forsake(Hebrews 13:5) you but it is up to you to learn his voice and discern truth from deception by devoting yourself to Him.  The best way we can do this as Christians is to find a church with a good community of followers to support our spiritual growth, and by reading the Word of God(Psalm 119:130).  Through His Word we can learn discernment, helping us navigate our salvation in this deceptive world.

On behalf of Seeking Holy I pray that you allow God to direct you and learn to defend yourself from the enemy's attacks.
